  A). Color changes after several years of using.

  In order to reduce cost, some factories use low quality PVDF painting or painting consisting of less than 70% fluorocarbon. Actually, some factories using only 20%-30% fluorocarbon and allege that the painting is PVDF painting. This kind of ACP will discolor soon within 2-3 years in exterior application.

   

   

  After 2-3 years life span, the panels may crack, then the PE and aluminum skin will separate. Reasons for this quality defect: Low quality PE or second hand PE is used for manufacturing, which adversely influences the bonding strength.

   

   

  ①Low quality PE or even recycled PE is used for core materials;

  ②Artificial reduction on the aluminum skin thickness. Once the aluminum skin is reduced in its thickness, the panel will be very fragile.

  To sum up, most of the ACP quality problems arise from factory's using low quality raw materials secretly to reduce cost.
